without needing to later match up the webcam video with the game footage. To get started,

1. Download the Software

First, download the latest version of OBS for your OS here

Download | OBS

If you're on a Quest...

You'll want to also get a Chromecast receiver app.

A cheap one that's Windows only (only $3) is

Buy AirReceiver - Microsoft Store

I haven't personally tried it, but TycoTech gave it a high review for Quest casting

The one I use is AirServer and it's a little more expensive, but works on Macs and Windows

2. Configure OBS

The first thing you'll want to do is to add your sources. You'll want to add a

  1. Video Capture source for the webcam. Once added, you can move it to the corner of the screen or position it anywhere you want (when adding, you'll have to chance to choose which webcam you want to use if you have multiple cameras on machine.)

Note: If you don't have a Webcam, you can use your iOS or Android phones as a webcam by using an app like this

  2. **Game Capture (**On Mac, you should use the Syphon Client). This is how you'll capture the video from your Quest.
